THERE NOMINATED FOR BEST GAME WEBSITE FOR THE EIGHTH ANNUAL WEBBY AWARDS
There on the Shortlist for Top International Honor for Websites
MENLO PARK, Calif. - April 20, 2004 - The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for websites and individual achievement in technology and creativity, today nominated There as Best Game website of 2004.
Hailed as "the online Oscars" by Time Magazine, the Webby Awards are determined by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a diverse organization that includes over 480 members such as musicians Beck and David Bowie, Internet inventor Vint Cerf, political columnist Arianna Huffington, and "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening.
"The Webby Awards honors the outstanding websites that are setting the standards for the Internet," said Tiffany Shlain, founder of the Webby Awards.
